Pickup Tailgate Salt Spreaders
332-0050 -- Rugged thermoplastic hopper resists rust and corrosion. Designed to hold 600 lbs. of #1 rock salt, calcium chloride or similar pelletized material of the same size. Spreads from 3 to 30 feet, ideal for parking lots, driveways, shopping centers, and roadways. Heavy duty sealed ball bearing motor is controlled by an in-cab electronic speed control. Auger and stainless steel spinner assures an even flow of spreading material. Complete with all mounting hardware and quick detach power cables. |

Low Profile Tailgate Salt Spreaders 332-0060 -- Low Profile Tailgate Spreaders The Tailgate Spreaders is designed and built for ease of use and safe operation by utilizing a low profile design to allow for full rear view from vehicle. The rugged thermoplastic hopper and powder coated frame provide exceptional resistance to corrosion and rust. The 12 volt Spreaders motor is housed in a sealed motor chamber to maximize its protection from salt and the elements. The hopper is designed to provide an even flow of 9 cubic feet/600 lbs. #1 Rock Salt or similar material, without the need for expensive auger add-ons or vibration kits. The ultra—smooth 45 degree hopper interior and auger designed to channel material to the stainless steel lined hopper throat and stainless steel spinner. Material flow and spread width from 3 to 35 feet, is controlled from the in-cab electronic Spreaders control panel. |

Hopper Sand & Salt SpreadersThese Salt/Sand Spreaders are completely self-contained, ultra-durable and, was designed for ice and snow control. The complete assembly mounts easily on pickup, dump and platform trucks making it ideal for municipalities, shopping malls, schools, industries, hospitals and private contractors. Powered by a heavy-duty 8.5 horsepower, air cooled, 4-cycle Briggs and Stratton gasoline engine equipped with an alternator and 12 volt electric starter. Operated by an in-cab start/stop and electric throttle control. A 12 volt DC electric clutch has a three position in-cab switch for greater control and material economy. This also allows for low speed operation and spot spreading. The hopper has 12 gauge steel sides and supports and, has a cross support beam with a central lift point for easy loading and unloading. The conveyer is rated a 22,000 lbs. and can be adjusted 3-1/2". All bushings and drive shafts can be lubricated and greased. A lever operated feedgate uses a friction lock for accurate adjustment. The gate uses a heavy-duty flap to prevent damage to the conveyer chain and material jamming. Three adjustable deflectors allow for complete control of spreading direction to right, left, rear, full or compact spread. Total spread radius ranges from 2' to 25'. An extra wide deflector protects the rear of the under carriage on the vehicle. |
